"Since the very first day of their jazz studies Julian Grüneberg and Justin Zitt play together. Despite making music in various different constellations, they would always come back to playing just as a duo. In the Summer of 2022 they decided to record what they did on a regular basis anyway, playing their favorite songs. The sound is characterized by the rich experience the two have together while still always trying to surprise each other. The fact, that the musicians recorded everything by themselves results in a very special "casual" sounding record that tries to emulate a live performance as much as possible. Beeing away from the conventional studio environment, the two still find exiting ways to interact and bring new ideas to those well known but all the more beautiful songs."
